The most famous myth regarding the consumption of olive oil is that it adds more calories in our nutrition compared with other type of oil like seed oil.

Several researches of nutritionists prove that olive oil gives our body the exact same calories with seed oils. Specifically, 1 gr.of oil gives 9 calories, as many as 1 gr. of any kind of seed oil, but without any beneficial status for our organization.

Also it worth to note that even though at very high cooking temperatures, the oil beat on than other oils. Specifically at  cooking temperatures of around 210C olive oil maintains its nutritional value as compared with soyabean oil and sunflower oil that cannot withstand temperatures above 170C.
